- Louredo – With its tight gorges and drop offs, this one is a tricky location. Check out Louredo if you’re an experienced rafter.
- Cavado – These waters run close to the town of Esposende. Parts of the river are only level 1 and 2 rating which mean that they are perfect for beginners. Sectors do reach levels 3 and 4, but make sure you know what you are doing.
- Castro Laboreiro – There are some really insane waterfalls at this spot. Some of the falls even reach over 20 feet high in parts. This is for the bravest of the brave;
- The two waterfalls, Paiva (Gargantua Gorges), Voga – The waterfalls are set in the middle of mountains, among dense greenery. These are best to do from October to April, when the rains are at their height.
